3. Tyler Conklin, TE, NY Jets

And now it’s time for my weekly Tyler Conklin plug. I don’t know what it is, but Conklin is just a reliable option for owners at an extremely reasonable price.

Conklin is easily the most sought-after tight end on the Jets roster, and even though C.J. Uzomah stole a goal-line touchdown last week, Conklin still finished with four catches for 58 yards last week, marking the second time this year he has surpassed 50 receiving yards.

Conklin is now up to 13 catches for 136 yards in four games this season. If you remove the disappointing one catch for a two-yard gain game against the Bills on opening night, Conklin is at 12 catches for 134 yards in his last three games, good for four catches and 45 yards on average.

That is a pretty good floor for fantasy tight ends this year. Unless you plan on spending the bank on Travis Kelce or T.J. Hockenson, there aren’t many better options than Conklin. For reference, Conklin is currently costing $4,800 this week versus $8,800 for Kelce.

I think Conklin plays to his averages and finished around five catches for 55 yards this week against Denver. If he can turn one of those chances into a score, it’s a huge day for owners that buy low on Conklin this week.
