NY Jets vs. Patriots top prop bets to make for NFL Week 7 game
By Jon Jeune
NY Jets quarterback Zach Wilson's prop for passing touchdowns this week is 1.5 (o/u)
I already mentioned why the Jets may be less likely to throw the football in this one. Bill Belichick is known for giving rookie quarterbacks trouble, except for Davis Mills apparently.
The Patriots have allowed a 4.1 percent touchdown rate on opposing teams' pass attempts on the season which is top-12 in the NFL. The league average for TD rate allowed is 4.6 percent so the Patriots are performing well in that category.
Zach Wilson, on the other hand, has a touchdown rate of 2.3 percent on the season which is well below the NFL average of 5.0 percent.
Combine a conservative game plan with a tough matchup here and it may be difficult for Wilson to find the end zone through the air.
My Projection: 1.0 passing touchdowns (UNDER)
