The NY Jets will be looking to bounce back this week following a Week 1 loss to the Carolina Panthers. And they'll be looking to do so against a New England Patriots team in a very similar situation.

The Patriots squandered a late opportunity to score a divisional win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 1 leaving both teams at 0-1 going into this game.

The Jets, for all their struggles last Sunday, did only lose by five points to a decent Panthers team. There's some talent here, enough that might convince you to pick against the 6.0-point spread.

But aside from that, there are a few other player props that could be worthwhile gambles this week. We take a look at a couple of the best bets for the Jets' Week 2 matchup with the Patriots, courtesy of WynnBet.

Best NY Jets bets Week 2

  • Zach Wilson O/U Passing Touchdowns (1.5) --- UNDER

Zach Wilson put together a very encouraging debut last week completing 54 percent of his passes and throwing for 258 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those two touchdowns, however, didn't come until the second half.

And both were thrown to Corey Davis (more on him in a moment). While Wilson established excellent chemistry with Davis, he wasn't able to do the same with his other top receivers.

And considering the fact that the Patriots will key in on Davis to try to take him out of this game as much as possible, that could be troublesome for Wilson and the offense.

New England's defense is stingy and the pass rush could make life difficult for Wilson. Also consider that the Patriots' offense struggled some in Week 1, indicating that this could be a low-scoring affair.

Expect the Jets to try and establish some semblance of a ground game. But even if they can't, it's probably safer to bet that Wilson doesn't throw more than one touchdown this week.

  • Corey Davis O/U Receptions (4.0) --- UNDER

This one's a little tricky. Davis established himself as the clear-cut No. 1 option in the Jets passing game last Sunday hauling in five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns.

But he might find it difficult to match that production in Week 2.

As previously noted, the Patriots are going to do everything they can to take Davis out of this game including allowing top cornerback J.C. Jackson to zero in on him.

Couple that with the expected returns of Jamison Crowder and Keelan Cole and the Jets will have plenty of other options in the passing game to draw targets away from Davis.

I'd be more comfortable if this bet was set at 4.5, but I'll still take the under on 4.0.
