2. Corey Davis, WR, NY Jets

Speaking of the wide receiver position, the Jets' biggest offensive addition of the free-agency period came in form of another former first-round pick, Corey Davis.

Davis never lived up to the expectations placed on him as the fifth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. But in 2020, he put together the best season of his career.

Davis finished with 65 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns — all of which were career highs. He would've easily topped 1,000 yards too had he not missed a pair of games.

Now the de facto No. 1 option in New York, Davis will be given the chance to carry over the momentum from a career year in Tennessee.

1. Carl Lawson, DE, NY Jets

Carl Lawson was the Jets most expensive signing of the offseason so it's only fitting that he lands atop this list.

Lawson broke out in 2020 emerging as one of the best edge rushers in football. While his sack production was modest (5.5 sacks), he finished fourth among all edge defenders with a whopping 64 pressures.

Anyone who watched the Cincinnati Bengals play last year would tell you that Lawson was a dominant force, sacks or not. And now surrounded by a much better supporting cast, there's no telling what he could do in 2021.

Lawson was considered one of the best overall free agents on the open market. Expect him to make a significant impact in 2021, provided he stays healthy.
