NY Jets specialists (3):

- Chris Naggar (R), Braden Mann, Thomas Hennessy

The only position up for grabs here is kicker. Braden Mann had an up-and-down rookie season but will be running unopposed in training camp.

Mann has a big leg and could legitimately be one of the best tacklers on the entire roster, but he will need to show more consistency in 2021 to establish himself as one of the better punters in the league.

Thomas Hennessy does his job. He will enter his fifth season with the Jets in 2021 and it's hard to recall a single poor snap that he's had.

That's good. The less said about long snappers the better.

The real battle is at kicker with the returning Sam Ficken competing with undrafted rookie Chris Naggar. Ficken and Naggar had their share of struggles this spring and it's quite possible the Jets' Week 1 kicker isn't on the roster yet.

The Jets have had a revolving door at kicker since letting Jason Myers walk in free agency and it's hard to get optimistic about the duo the team has right now.

We'll give the slight edge to Naggar simply because he was hand-picked by Brant Boyer. The Jets have seen enough of Ficken to know what he is.

If the Jets don't add a kicker, the more enticing option is to go with the rookie Naggar.
