Despite all signs pointing to Davante Adams remaining with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2024, some NY Jets have continued to hold out hope that their favorite team would somehow be able to land the All-Pro wide receiver this offseason.

Those hopes took another hit on Tuesday when Raiders general manager Tom Telesco spoke to reporters at the NFL Combine. When asked about the possibility of Adams being traded this offseason, Telesco shot down those rumors with a definitive statement.

"He's a Raider," Telesco told reporters. The Raiders GM emphasized that Adams was not going anywhere and that he would remain with the organization through the offseason.

Adams appears to be happy in Las Vegas following the hiring of new head coach Antonio Pierce. Barring any sudden and expected changes, the Jets will have to look elsewhere for wide receiver help this offseason.

Jets changing radio stations

The Jets will reportedly be changing their flagship radio station starting this fall, per a report from The Athletic on Tuesday. The report states that the Jets will be moving from their home on ESPN's 98.7 FM to classic rock station 104.3 FM.

The move comes as a result of ESPN New York planning to abandon its FM signal this summer. The New York Knicks and New York Rangers are expected to remain with ESPN New York even without the FM station.

The good news for fans of the current Jets radio setup is that the incomparable Bob Wischusen and Marty Lyons are expected to continue calling games for the green and white. There will be no change with the broadcast team.

Jets fans listening to their favorite team on the radio will have to tune into a new station starting next season.

Josh McCown is back in the NFL coaching world

Former Jets quarterback Josh McCown is continuing his NFL coaching journey, as the longtime veteran QB was officially hired as the new quarterbacks coach of the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday.

McCown earned his first NFL coaching job last season, serving as the quarterbacks coach of the Carolina Panthers before he was fired in November alongside head coach Frank Reich.

The 44-year-old spent 17 years in the NFL, playing for a whopping nine different teams. That includes a stint with the Jets from 2017 to 2018.

It's nice to see McCown get another shot as an NFL coach after his first stint with the Panthers only lasted a few months. He's a name to watch in the coaching world.
