3. Denzel Mims, WR, NY Jets

Denzel Mims might be the player on this list that the Jets remain the highest on. But that doesn't mean he won't have to earn his snaps this season.

A second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Mims' career got off to an inauspicious start as a hamstring injury sidelined him for most of training camp and the first half off his rookie season.

He returned and flashed at times down the stretch, but was ultimately hindered by poor quarterback play and a terrible offensive system. That could easily change in 2021, however.

Mims' supporting cast looks vastly improved, but unfortunately for him, so too does the wide receiver room.

The Jets signed both Corey Davis and Keelan Cole in free agency and added Elijah Moore in the 2021 NFL Draft. All three players figure to receive snaps on offense with Cole likely serving as Mims' greatest competition.

In fact, Cole was working ahead of Mims for most of the spring indicating that the Jets see their free-agent duo as the two top outside receivers on the roster.

Mims will have every opportunity to change that this summer where he'll look to prove that he deserves a starting role in the offense.

Denzel Mims is fighting for playing time, and training camp will serve as his own personal proving grounds.
