Whew! What a game the NY Jets had against Cincinnati Bengals! The 34-31 home win surprised the entire NFL. That's why I'm taking a look at the players who were winners and the ones who were losers in Week 8 of fantasy football.

QB Winners

Mike White, NY Jets | 28.1 fantasy points

A new star is born! Mike White made a splash with an exceptional performance on Sunday. White completed 37 of his 45 pass attempts in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. This resulted in an impressive completion rate of 82 percent.

White also threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns. His two interceptions early in the game did not faze him in any way. With his 405 passing yards, White is only the second quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 400 yards in his starting debut. Respect.

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers | 27.3 fantasy points

Jimmy Garoppolo surprised more than just his opponent, the Chicago Bears, on Sunday. In his team's 33-22 win, Garoppolo completed 17-of-28 pass attempts for 322 yards and added two rushing touchdowns on top of that.

In addition, Garoppolo went without a turnover for the first time since Week 2.

Justin Fields, Chicago Bears | 24.3 fantasy points

Against the 49ers, you could see for the first time what Justin Fields is capable of. He completed 19 of his 27 pass attempts for 175 yards and a touchdown. Additionally, Fields ran the ball 10 times for 103 yards and scored a rushing touchdown. Impressive.
