D’Andre Swift, Detroit Lions | 24.4 fantasy points
Even though D'Andre Swift was dealing with groin issues all week and was questionable until just before the start of the game against the Los Angeles Rams, he put up impressive numbers.
Swift ran for 48 yards on 13 carries and also had eight receptions on 10 targets for 96 yards and a touchdown. That ranks him 10th among the receiving leaders for Week 7.
Damien Harris, New England Patriots | 24.3 fantasy points
As I predicted (unfortunately), Damien Harris had an outstanding week. With his 14 rushes for 106 yards and two touchdowns, he currently ranks fourth among the rushing leaders for Week 7. This marks the second straight week Harris has delivered a game over 100 rushing yards.
D'Ernest Johnson, Cleveland Browns | 24.3 fantasy points
The rushing leader for Week 7 is ... D'Ernest Johnson! In the absence of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, Johnson stepped up to lead back and was served accordingly. 22 carries for 146 yards and a touchdown are impressive.
However, Johnson should only be able to repeat such numbers in Week 8 if Chubb or Hunt don't get fit.
Michael Carter, NY Jets | 11.4 fantasy points
A game to forget! And yet, there is a small bright spot for the NY Jets in Michael Carter. With 11 rushes for 37 yards and eight receptions for 67 yards, Carter led the extremely weak Jets in both rushing and receiving yards.
His performance was marred, however, by his first fumble in the NFL. Still, Michael Carter remains the top rushing option in a low-scoring offense in Week 8.
