Even though not everything was perfect and Zach Wilson struggled a lot after his return, the NY Jets were able to make the matchup against the Houston Texans successful and get their third win of the season.
To take the focus off the lackluster quarterback performance a bit, let's take a look at the players who were the winners and losers in fantasy football in Week 12.
QB Winners
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills | 28.7 Fantasy Points
Josh Allen was able to turn the tables on the New Orleans Saints after losing to the Indianapolis Colts and put his skills back in perspective.
He completed 23-of-28 passes for 260 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in the win over the Saints. Additionally, Allen ran the ball eight times for 43 yards.
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers | 26.3 Fantasy Points
Aaron Rodgers had his second straight game against the Los Angeles Rams with over 300 passing yards and multiple touchdowns. Rodgers completed 28-of-45 pass attempts to the target, totaling 307 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, he ran the ball twice for zero yards and a touchdown.
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys | 25.3 Fantasy Points
After a game to forget against the Kansas City Chiefs, Dak Prescott bounced back impressively against the Las Vegas Raiders. Out of 47 pass attempts, Prescott was able to complete 32 and scored 375 yards and two touchdowns.
With those numbers, though, you also have to keep in mind that two of Prescott's weapons (Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb) were unavailable.
QB Losers
Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans | 8.1 Fantasy Points
Ryan Tannehill could never really get his offense going against New England Patriots. However, he was also missing two of his weapons — A.J. Brown and Julio Jones. Tannehill took 11 of his 21 pass attempts to the target for 93 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
With the 93 passing yards, Tannehill marked his weakest performance of the season. Still, he extended his streak of games with at least one passing touchdown to six.
Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers | 8.2 Fantasy Points
The fairy tale of the Panthers and Cam Newton took a messy turn in the game against the Miami Dolphins. After a good opening drive in which Newton finished with a rushing touchdown, not much went right.
In total, Cam Newton brought only five of his 21 pass attempts to the target, gaining 92 yards and two interceptions. This led to Newton being benched in favor of P.J. Walker in the fourth quarter.
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles | 9.9 Fantasy Points
Jalen Hurts had his weakest performance of the season against the New York Giants. Hurts was only able to complete 14 of his 31 passes, and he scored 129 yards, no touchdowns but three interceptions.
Even though Hurts was once again the Eagles' rushing leader with eight rush attempts for 77 yards, he was unable to score a touchdown.
