Start: Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

Excluding the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Josh Allen has been a top-5 quarterback in recent games. So anything other than a starting recommendation would be out of place here.

Even though the Jets defense ranks in the middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points for quarterbacks (18.7 per game).

In each of the two games last season, Allen threw for more than 300 yards. While Allen did not score a touchdown in the last game, he did score two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in the game before that.

This is reflected in his fantasy points as well: he scored 18.4 fantasy points in the last game, and 32.2 in the game before that. The truth is probably somewhere in between.

Still, Josh Allen remains a must-start.

Risky Start: Michael Carter, RB, NY Jets

Michael Carter had his weakest game since Week 3 against the Colts, but his trend is still up. Additionally, Carter is getting his quarterback back, which he shined with against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Even though the Bills defense is playing stars out of the sky especially against running backs, the Mike White/Michael Carter connection may work again. However, a lot of uncertainty makes Carter a risky start this week.

Start: Tyler Bass, K, Buffalo Bills

Tyler Bass is an absolute must-start in the matchup against the Jets. Bass has been extremely confident kicking this season.

He has converted all of his extra points and only missed one field goal attempt. Averaging 8.6 fantasy points per game speaks volumes.

This is backed up by the Jets defense which is allowing more fantasy points to kickers than any other team at 10.1 fantasy points per game.
