The NY Jets will be without a number of key players when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. In fact, both teams are pretty banged up heading into this cross-conference showdown.

Jets cornerback D.J. Reed will miss his second consecutive week with a concussion, and he'll be joined by fellow cornerbacks Sauce Gardner (concussion), Brandin Echols (hamstring), and Justin Hardee (hamstring).

Gardner was added to the injury report with what was described as an illness on Friday, only for the Jets to rule him out with a concussion the next day. Gardner's absence leaves the Jets ultra-thin at cornerback entering this game.

The Jets are expected to start the likes of Bryce Hall and Craig James alongside Michael Carter II at cornerback this week. The team's defense will have their work cut out for them against a potent Eagles offense.

Fortunately for Gang Green, the Eagles will be without arguably their two best defensive players in this game as well. Star cornerback Darius Slay and standout rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter both will not be playing this week.

The Jets are searching for their first win in what will be 13 matchups against the Eagles. Meanwhile, the Eagles are looking to improve to 6-0 on the season at the expense of the Jets.
