NY Jets draft: NFL Combine schedule, events, and how to stream
By Justin Fried
The 2023 NFL Draft figures to be another important step for the NY Jets when it comes to building their foundation for the future. The next stage in this year's draft process is the upcoming NFL Combine, which is set to take place next week.
Draft season is in full force, with the Senior Bowl now in the rear mirror. It's easy to be distracted by the Jets' pursuit of a quarterback and the upcoming free-agency period, but the NFL Draft is quickly approaching.
Next week's Combine will provide NFL teams with an opportunity to get a closer look at many of the top prospects in this year's class. While teams don't put as much stock into Combine performances as they used to, it's still one of the most important dates on the NFL's offseason calendar.
You've seen the mock drafts. You've heard the draft rumors. Now, let's take a look at a complete timeline of next week's NFL Combine, as well as how you can watch the event.
What is the NFL Combine schedule?
The 2023 NFL Scouting Combine will begin next Monday, Feb. 27. It will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN as it is every year. In total, the event will last eight days, although the actual on-field workouts don't begin until March 2.
Below is a quick look at the NFL Combine schedule for 2023:
Players are divided into position groups with team interviews being the first even. That's followed by media interviews, measurements/on-field workouts, and finally the bench press event.
What events take place at the NFL Combine?
Seven events are scheduled to take place at the 2023 NFL Combine, although it should be noted that not every prospect partakes in every event. Some even opt to forgo each event, simply attending for the purpose of meeting with prospective NFL teams.

- 40-yard dash
- 60-yard shuttle
- 20-yard shuttle
- Vertical jump
- Broad jump
