The NY Jets are coming off a shocking victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the Jets have to turn around on a short week and focus on a new opponent in the Indianapolis Colts. As always, I will be looking into some of my favorite props ahead of the game.

NY Jets running back Michael Carter's prop for receiving yards this week is 36.5 (o/u)

Michael Carter had his signature game last week, he totaled 172 total yards on 24 total touches. Carter made his impact felt as a receiver out of the backfield though totaling 95 yards on nine receptions.

Carter is second on the Jets in targets only to Corey Davis. He has quickly become one of their best playmakers on offense. Over the last three weeks, Carter leads all NFL running backs with a 26.5 percent target share.

While the Colts only allow a 16 percent target share to opposing running backs, they played teams that don't target their running backs at a high rate. Since Mike White has taken over at quarterback the Jets have targeted their running backs 40 percent of the time which is a league high.

All in all, I think Michael Carter is too important to the Jets offense to not be involved as a pass-catcher.

My Projection: 52 receiving yards (OVER)
