WATCH: NY Jets QB Aaron Rodgers arrives at Florham Park

Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback of the NY Jets. It's a sentence that still doesn't feel real...but it is. Rodgers is a Jet. He will be the quarterback of Gang Green in 2023.

We can officially say that now after Rodgers showed up to the Jets' facilities in Florham Park for the first time on Wednesday ahead of his introductory press conference later in the day.

Jets owner Woody Johnson posted a video to Twitter of QB1 arriving at One Jets Drive before meeting with and hugging the likes of Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Robert Saleh, Rex Hogan, Nathaniel Hackett, and Joe Douglas.

Sporting a Jets hoodie, Rodgers had a huge smile on his face as he met with many of the members of the Jets' brass for the first time in quite a while, and most certainly the first time in Florham Park.

This is really happening, Jets fans. Aaron Rodgers is your quarterback.

This is a moment that has been months in the making. The Jets and Green Bay Packers had been discussing a potential Rodgers trade since January. We've known Rodgers' intentions for over a month now.

The wait may have been agonizing, but it's hard to argue it wasn't worth it for this moment alone. After years of inept quarterback play, the Jets have acquired one of the greatest QBs in NFL history. A man who has won the MVP award in two of the last three seasons.

It's impossible to say what the future holds. Maybe Rodgers flames out. Maybe the Jets fall short of expectations.
