NY Jets: 6 quick thoughts from another blowout loss to the Bills
By Justin Fried
The NY Jets fell to the Buffalo Bills by a final score of 45-17 in Week 10. It was another blowout loss for a Jets team that has become accustomed to them in recent weeks.
The defense was atrocious, the offense had costly turnovers, and the Mike White magic officially ran out. Nothing went right for the Jets on Sunday, and the final score is evidence of that.
Where does the team go from here? Who knows. For now, let's take a look at a few quick takeaways from this embarrassment of a game.
1. The Mike White train has been derailed
It was a fun ride. The Jets vowed to ride the Mike White train until it derailed, and on Sunday, that train skidded right off the tracks.
White finished 24-of-44 for 251 yards and four interceptions in what was a disastrous day for the young signal-caller. There were "We Want Flacco" chants raining down from the MetLife Stadium bleachers by the third quarter.
It's safe to say that White's time as a starter has come to an end assuming Zach Wilson is healthy enough to start next week.
White proved that he's a more-than-capable backup, but that's it for now. And that's perfectly fine.
It's Zach Wilson's time again.
