3. Isaiah Dunn, CB, NY Jets
The Jets went into OTAs hoping to see at least one of their young cornerbacks stand out. And now that the dust has settled, one player has indeed emerged amongst the pack.
That player is Isaiah Dunn.
An undrafted free agent out of Oregon State, the Jets handed Dunn the largest contract ever given to an undrafted cornerback shortly following the 2021 NFL Draft.
It was a hefty investment — but one that's seemingly paid off so far.
Dunn has been one of the biggest standouts from OTAs and he's surely boosted his stock more than most players on the team.
D.J. Bien-Aime II of the NY Daily News recently described Dunn's impressive showing.
"Keep an eye on [Isaiah] Dunn, one of the undrafted free agents Gang Green added to the roster, as the offseason continues to progress as the former Oregon State star made some nice pass breakups throughout the OTAs that have been available to the media."D.J. Bien-Aime II, on Isaiah Dunn
Dunn is competing for playing time in an incredibly inexperienced secondary featuring the likes of Bryce Hall, Blessuan Austin, and Jason Pinnock. Of them all, Austin is the "veteran" of the group with 18 NFL games to his name.
There's no reason why Dunn can't make the roster and even compete for a starting job if he continues to impress this summer.
