The NY Jets will conclude their 2021 preseason with a Friday night matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles later tonight.

Following two consecutive victories over the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers, the Jets will look to finish the preseason on a high note and go undefeated in exhibition play.

While their streak of wins pales in comparison to the mighty Baltimore Ravens who tied the NFL record with 19-straight preseason victories last week, it's always nice to win games. Even in the preseason.

What's more important, however, are the ongoing position battles on the roster. Tonight's game will be the final chance the Jets have to see their players in action before final cuts are made.

This is the last opportunity for players to stake their claim, whether it be for a starting role or simply a roster spot.

The Jets still have a number of spots up for grabs, both in the starting lineup and at the bottom of the roster. Recent injuries have opened up opportunities for players who otherwise would not have had them.

Many of the Jets' projected starters will be playing in this game, perhaps up to an entire half as head coach Robert Saleh indicated this week. That's a risky proposition given the poor injury luck the team has run into this summer.

Nonetheless, it all comes down to this game. 60 minutes for the 80 players remaining on the Jets' roster to prove their worth.

Let's take a look at four players with the most to prove in tonight's game.
