Few teams underwent as much change as the NY Jets did this offseason. Both the roster and coaching staff were overhauled in an attempt to right the wrongs of the previous regime.

And as a result, the Jets of July 2021 look vastly different than the team that took the field a year ago.

It started with the coaching staff as Robert Saleh was brought in to replace the infamous Adam Gase. Free agency introduced new exciting pieces such as Carl Lawson and Corey Davis.

Meanwhile, the Jets made a change at the quarterback position shipping Sam Darnold to Carolina and replacing him with second overall pick Zach Wilson. Wilson was supplemented by fellow 2021 draft picks Alijah Vera-Tucker, Elijah Moore, and others.

Yes, the Jets made their fair share of additions this offseason. But with plenty of cap space still remaining, they theoretically could make another move or two before training camp starts later this month.

Just as with life, it pays to have connections in the NFL. We saw that this offseason with players like Tevin Coleman, Vinny Curry, and Ronald Blair all being signed due in part to their prior relationships with members of the organization.

If the Jets do make another free-agent signing, what connections could they turn to?

We take a look at four free agents with prior connections to the Jets.
