Week 2 was a rough week, not just for the NY Jets and their fan base, but also in this column as well. It was not the best week as we went 1-for-3 on player prop recommendations.

A lot of things contributed to that outcome, but that is the nature of the beast. This week we will be looking at my favorite bets from the upcoming game against the Denver Broncos. Let's dive in!

All Props are according to WynnBet.

NY Jets quarterback Zach Wilson's prop for passing touchdowns this week is 1.5 (o/u)

It was a rough week for Zach Wilson in Week 2. The rookie quarterback looked just liked that — a rookie.

This rookie happened to be going up against Bill Belichick who has made terrorizing rookie quarterbacks a yearly tradition it seems. This week's matchup brings another stiff test for Wilson as he takes on the Denver Broncos

The Broncos have been better defensively through two weeks than many expected. The Denver defense is fifth in passing yards allowed per game at 192.5.

The Broncos defense has allowed a passing touchdown rate of 2.7 percent through, which is much less than the league average of 4.8 percent. Wilson, through two games, has a touchdown rate of 2.9 percent.

I would imagine that after the way Wilson played last week, combined with the stiff test of the Broncos' defense coming up, that the Jets get a bit more conservative on offense.

I still believe Wilson will see a decent amount of attempts with the Jets being double-digit underdogs, but I'm not expecting much efficiency from him.

My Projection: 0.96 passing touchdowns (UNDER)
