The biggest strength of the NY Jets squad that saw back-to-back AFC Championship games over a decade ago was the impressive offensive line, led by Nick Mangold and D'Brickashaw Ferguson.

While this unit doesn't quite have the talent to be that good, they've improved so much since Joe Douglas took over this franchise. With three veterans alongside two potential All-Pro young guns, this unit is ready to make an impact.

It's not the flashiest position, but given how talented Zach Wilson and the rest of this offense can potentially be, it's definitely the most vital to the Jets success now and into the future.

So just how good can this unit be? What are their potential weaknesses? How will they mesh as a group in 2022? Read on to find out.

1. What are the pros of the 2022 NY Jets offensive line?

The Jets' offensive line has slowly been building over the past few years under Joe Douglas, but the biggest positive for 2022 is that he may have finally completed this project.

This means the line, in 2022, is complete with five incredibly talented players who can all be considered above-average in today's NFL, as well as great depth that would allow for the Jets to overcome a significant injury along this line.

After drafting Max Mitchell in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Jets have studs all along the line and on the second unit. If they can avoid the big, long-term injuries, there's no reason that this unit should be anything less than fantastic.
