Quarterback is a position the NY Jets have struggled to find an answer at for decades now, and while the jury is still out on Zach Wilson, it's certainly the most promising and complete QB room the Jets have had since 2009 with a rookie Mark Sanchez.

Wilson finished the season strong in 2021, and with plenty more weapons, the Jets may have finally found the answer. The depth this group possesses is excellent too.

With Mike White and Joe Flacco helping the sophomore BYU product and improving themselves, this is a group that could do some great things and win some big-time games for the Jets this season.

But what should we expect from this group? Here is a rundown on the most important position in sports for the 2022 New York Jets.

Depth chart: Zach Wilson, Mike White, Joe Flacco

1. What are the pros of the 2022 NY Jets QB room?

The Jets have plenty of strengths on the offensive side of the ball, and all of that is designed to allow the ultra-talented Zach Wilson to thrive and take this franchise where it wants to go.

If however, for some reason, Wilson was to get hurt, one of the biggest strengths this group has is its depth. Sure Mike White isn't exactly proven, but he evidently has talent. Joe Flacco is much older, but with these weapons, the Jets could win some games with either of them under center.

Ultimately, all Jets fans around the world pray for the health of their sophomore QB, and one reason why they might not need to worry is the second biggest pro for this group, and that's Wilson. Or rather, Wilson's body.

Heading into camp for his second year, there have been plenty of people talking about Wilson's physical shape and how he has put on significant size this offseason. This is a good thing, and if he can stay on the field, the bigger-bodied Wilson may take a huge leap in 2022.
