9. The NY Jets make the playoffs

Now we're getting into the fun stuff.

The team is coming off a 2-14 season with a rookie head coach and quarterback at the helm. Head coach Robert Saleh even tried to tone down expectations for fans, as a ton of rookies will be slated for big roles on this year's team.

But if the high praise is met by these players, the league should be on notice. At least on paper, the Jets could be set up for success if some of these players can exceed expectations.

If the Jets manage to shock the league, they could see the postseason for the first time in a decade.

Of course, that won't be an easy task. The Jets play some difficult opponents this year, and will need to be able to outplay and outcoach some of those with more talented and experienced rosters.

But football is made up of Cinderella stories. There are always a few teams that make it to the postseason that nobody expects.

The Jets wouldn't be the first team in history to go from one of the worst the year before, to a sudden contender in one season. Is it a long shot? Perhaps.

But if this team comes to play week in and week out, then there's no reason why the Jets can't be the next on that list.
