T-20. Jameis Winston (New Orleans Saints)

• Cumulative ranking: 26.00
• Highest ranking: 16
• Lowest ranking: 26

Oh, what could have been with Jameis Winston in 2021. The former first overall pick got off to a blazing start in his first year in New Orleans tossing 14 touchdowns and just three interceptions in seven starts.

That was before he suffered a torn ACL that would sideline him for the remainder of the season. The likes of Trevor Siemian and Taysom Hill did little to inspire confidence in his absence.

Winston might have gotten an unfair shake here as it was easy for many to forget how well he played at the beginning of the year. Still, it was only a seven-game (really six games) sample size.

Winston has earned a starting job somewhere in 2022.

19. Mac Jones (New England Patriots)

• Cumulative ranking: 19.50
• Highest ranking: 17
• Lowest ranking: 22

Votes on Mac Jones were fairly consistent. The last of five rookie quarterbacks selected in the first round, Jones was easily the best of the bunch in 2021.

The Alabama product finished with 22 touchdowns and 13 interceptions helping lead his team to a 10-7 record and a playoff berth. Of course, context obviously has to be considered.

Jones was helped considerably by a good supporting cast and he didn't light up games as a rookie. But his combination of safe and smart football helps him shoot up these rankings.

There's even talk of Jones playing in the Pro Bowl as an injury replacement this year. The rookie QB earned a top-20 spot on this list.
