Ravens vs Jets Prediction and Pick

Ravens -6.5 (-118) vs Jets

It's unfortunate the Jets have to play Baltimore to open the season, because I'm expecting huge things from the Ravens this year. Lamar Jackson is still a cheat code, and the team as a whole should be much healthier in 2022.

I love the skill position players New York assembled in the offseason. Elijah Moore, Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis, Michael Carter Jr., and Breece Hall are all pieces to what will be a successful offense. That being said, Joe Flacco hasn't been a good quarterback for nearly 10 years now, and New York is simply overmatched.

The Jets are 1-4 against the spread (ATS) in their last five games as home underdogs and won't be able to contain Lamar. Baltimore is familiar with Flacco's limitations from his time with the Ravens, and the coaching staff should exploit his inadequacies.
