The New York Jets had one of the most impactful offseasons in the NFL, trading for four-time MVP, Aaron Rodgers, to be their quarterback.

They boasted one of the best defenses in the league in 2022, but poor offensive output led them to just a 7-10 record. With Rodgers now behind center, will we see the Jets return to the postseason for the first time since 2010?

If you want my very best bet for the team this year, you can find read my "best futures bet to place for all 32 NFL teams" article here.

In this piece, I'm going to breakdown all of the available betting odds for the Jets this season, including their projected win total and their odds to win the AFC East.

New York Jets Super Bowl 58 odds

The New York Jets' odds to win Super Bowl 58 are set at +1600. That's an implied probability of 5.88% and are the seventh best odds. If you bet $100 on the Jets to lift the Lombardi Trophy, you'll win a profit of $1,600 if they're able to achieve the feat.

Jets fans have to feel excited about that after over a decade of irrelevancy. They have the team to get it done, but a stacked AFC is going to create a tumultuous road for them along the way. The Chiefs, Bills, and Bengals are the three AFC teams with shorter odds to win it all.

New York Jets win total prediction for the 2023 season

Despite their strong odds to win the Super Bowl, the Jets' win total this season is set just at 9.5. That number is pretty surprising considering they won seven games last season without any level of solid quarterback play.

Let's not forget how dominant the Jets defense was last season. They allowed the second fewest points per game at 18.6 and the fourth fewest yards per game at 311.1. This is likely going to be the best defense Aaron Rodgers has played with in his career.

I love the OVER on their win total. I don't think it's too much of an ask for them to reach 10 wins.

New York Jets odds to win AFC East

The Buffalo Bills are still favored to win the AFC East at +120, but the Jets have leapfrogged last year's wild card team, the Miami Dolphins.

The Jets haven't won the division since 2002, so it's been a 21-year drought since they were last crowned division champs. They have a real shot to end that drought this season.

New York Jets odds to win AFC

New York Jets odds to make the playoffs

Even if the Jets don't win the AFC East, they're still favored to get into the playoffs with a wild card spot. At -134, they have an implied probability of 57.26% of making the postseason.

New York Jets season-long prop bet

Robert Saleh Coach of the Year +1600

My best bet for the Jets this season is for Robert Saleh to win Coach of the Year. This is what I wrote in my "32 bets for 32 teams" article:

"Robert Saleh quietly coached the New York Jets to having one of the best defenses in the NFL in 2022, but because their offense was so bad, nobody noticed.

"The Jets defense allowed the second fewest yards per play at 4.8 and the second fewest points per game at 18.6.

"Now, with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback, they should have a competent offense that will let the defense shine. If they make the playoffs, or even win the AFC East, Saleh is going to be a top candidate to win coach of the year."
