2. What do the NY Jets do with John Franklin-Myers?

The Jets entered the 2022 NFL Draft with three needs, and after taking the best corner and wide receiver in the draft, they were able to trade back up for Florida State's Jermaine Johnson. The question now is, what does Robert Saleh do with John Franklin-Myers?

With Carl Lawson returning from injury and Quinnen Williams entering his fourth year in the league, logic tells us that Franklin-Myers could slot inside to complete this four-man group, but it may not be as easy as that.

This won't be decided at OTAs, but defining roles for rookies like Johnson early is always a great sign. As such, seeing what the Jets have in store for JFM will help this entire defensive line grow together in their collective roles.

3. Bryce Hall vs. Brandin Echols?

The Jets did some serious work on their cornerback group this offseason, adding both D.J. Reed and Sauce Gardner, and with Michael Carter II in the slot, this could be a very formidable group.

That is seemingly set in stone. What isn't set in stone, however, is the battle for the top outside cornerback. While Bryce Hall has played a more consistent brand of football during his time with the Jets, Saleh and company seemingly like the upside and physical tools of Echols.

We saw the number of injuries the Jets had in 2021 so depth is very important. Seeing two cornerbacks outside the top three on the roster fighting for this spot is a great look, and OTAs will give us a great insight as to who will see more time between the two.
