Jets vs. Panthers prediction and odds for NFL Preseason Week 1 (Bet New York as underdog)
By Iain MacMillan
The New York Jets are one of two teams who will be heading into Week 1 of the preseason with an exhibition game already under their belt. They lost to the Cleveland Browns by a score of 21-16 in the Hall-of-Fame Game.
Already have one game under their belt has to give them an advantage heading into their game against the Carolina Panthers, right?
Let's find out what the oddsmakers think.

Jets vs. Panthers prediction and pick
We have to wait a little while longer before we will see Aaron Rodgers competing in a game in a Jets uniform, as head coach Robert Saleh announced that New York will roll with Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle for Saturday's game against the Panthers.
In terms of betting on the game, that's fine by me. Wilson looked fantastic in the Hall-of-Fame game, completing 3-of-5 passes for 65 yards. If he can keep that up against the Panthers, the Jets should be in a great spot.
I also believe the Jets have more depth than the Panthers in this game, especially on the defensive side of the football. I expect as the game to go on, the Jets' advantage will increase.
Getting 3.5-points in a preseason game is a gift that I won't turn down.
