While NY Jets fans all across the world are analyzing and predicting what the final record of the team will be now that we know the regular season schedule, some other news also broke out. Former wide receiver Brandon Marshall made some breaking news of his own that he might actually consider coming out of retirement.
It's easy to see why so many players would indeed come out of retirement to play with a future Pro Football Hall of Famer in Aaron Rodgers thanks to everything he brings to the table. Marshall cut right to the chase and said he'd be willing to unretire and play tight end for Rodgers in 2023.
Check out what Marshall had to say and even the projected stats he believes he'd be able to achieve in 2023 with Rodgers throwing to him:

Of course, we're in May, the heart of the NFL offseason, and Marshall is obviously just messing around. Either way, it's fun to think about what it would be like to see him line up at tight end and try to score those eight touchdowns he believes he could haul in with Rodgers under center.
While this will likely never happen, one can't help but appreciate Marshall's excitement about everything Rodgers brings to the franchise. There is so much excitement and hope in the air that it's just going to be a ton of fun seeing Rodgers sling the football around all over the field trying to break as many Jets franchise records as he can.
Either way, Rodgers to Marshall would have had a nice ring to it if perhaps it happened back in 2015 in his incredible season with the Jets. Back in 2015, Marshall totaled 109 receptions, 1,502 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns.
