Is Breece Hall playing tonight? (Latest injury update for Bills vs. Jets in NFL Week 1)
By Peter Dewey
New York Jets running back Breece Hall is expected to suit up in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
Hall, who is recovering from a season-ending knee injury in the 2022 campaign, should factor into the Jets’ backfield alongside veterans Dalvin Cook and Michael Carter. A second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Hall was one of New York’s best offensive weapons last season before he was injured.
Breece Hall injury status for Week 1 game against Buffalo Bills
Hall is listed as questionable for the Jets in Week 1, but he is expected to play. This is a great sign considering that he tore his ACL in the middle of the 2022 season.
Best Breece Hall prop bet vs. Bills in Week 1
Breece Hall OVER 35.5 rushing yards
The Jets are going to ease Hall back into the lineup, likely having him split time with Cook and Carter.
While Jets head coach Robert Saleh wouldn’t commit to a snap count or touch count for Hall, he did mention that all three backs will see time.
Despite that, I think this prop number is low enough where I’ll take a chance on Hall with rain potentially in the forecast on Monday night. BetSided’s NFL analyst Iain MacMillan also like the OVER for Hall.
“Breece Hall looks like he's good to go for the Jets after rehabbing from a knee injury. Before he got hurt last year, he was the leader to win Offensive Rookie of the Year, averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
The only question for him surpassing this number is how many carries he'll get with a rehabbing knee and Dalvin Cook serving as the No. 2 back. But, if he gets even close to double digit carries, I think there's a great chance he can record at least 33 yards.” – Iain MacMillan
While he was able to get this line at 32.5, I still think Hall has a chance to go OVER 35.5 for what should be a high-powered Jets offense.
