A lot of people have been talking a big game about how great the Jets will be this season, including some Jets own players, but one bettor litterally just put his money where his mouth is when it comes to backing Gang Green.

A few hours before kickoff, a person in North Carolina wagered $100,000 on the Jets to upset the Bills on Monday Night Football, a bet that would net them $122,000 in profit if the Jets beat the Bills to open the season.

If you're as confident as this bettor that the Jets will beat Buffalo, you don't even need to wager a lot of money to get a big payout. FanDuel currently has a bet $5 and win $200 in bonus bets guaranteed offer that you can access by clicking the link below.

As for the massive wager above, it was made at the Harrah's Cherokee Hotel and Casino in North Carolina. They bet the Jets on the moneyline at +122 odds, which is a bit better than what I see online, which is currently showing +115 odds for Jets moneyline.

This game is a bit of a mystery for most bettors. Aaron Rodgers is making his Jets regular season debut after being traded to New York from Green Bay this offseason. The Jets were a quarterback away from being a legit Super Bowl contender last year, but things fluctuate season to season.

The Bills, meanwhile, have flown under the radar this offseason after a disappointing end to last season. Their Super Bowl window feels like it's closing, but Josh Allen remains one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL.

Simply put, I wouldn't feel comfortable wagering $100K on the Jets moneyline in their first game of the season. I do, however, think Dalvin Cook will score a TD, which is the way I'm betting the game.
