There haven’t been many positives for the 1-3 New York Jets, but Zach Wilson played well in their loss to the Chiefs last week and now they might stumble right into the win column against the Denver Broncos.
BetSided NFL betting expert Iain MacMillan is confused by the odds in this one and likes New York to win outright as a road underdog.
MacMillan is taking the Jets on the moneyline in his weekly “Road to 272” where he bets every game of the NFL schedule.

Betting expert for Jets in Week 5
There’s typically more than just one upset on Sunday in the NFL and this is the second one that BetSided NFL betting expert Iain MacMillan is taking the Jets as his second outright underdog of Week 5.
That’s because the Denver defense has been historically bad. In fact, by DVOA, they are the worst defense of all-time through four weeks.
“Yes, Zach Wilson playing against them this week is sort of a twisted game between a completely stoppable force and an exceptionally easy to move object, but I'm going to side with the former," MacMillian said. We know the Jets have one of the best defenses in the NFL and we also know the Broncos offense has been suspect at times this season.”
There aren’t a lot of teams that the Broncos are capable of beating and the Jets probably aren’t one. Take the Jets outright with MacMillan.
