2. Allen Lazard, WR, NY Jets

Allen Lazard has been the second-best receiver on the Jets all year long and has quickly earned some trust from quarterback Zach Wilson. So far this season, he has brought in seven passes on 13 targets for 108 yards.

However, when the Jets have been able to move the ball, Lazard has helped the offense on those drives. During the touchdown drive last week, Lazard caught two passes for 27 yards and also had a third target that could have easily been a 15-yard catch but slipped out of his hands.

I realize these stats don't jump off the page, but when a quarterback is only averaging about 150 passing yards per game, no receiver is jumping off the page.

Priced at $5800, Lazard offers better value than teammate Garrett Wilson at $7,200. I think the Jets push the ball vertically more this week, and Lazard's height could help him bring in some passes down the field for chunks of yards.

Look for Lazard to make some plays down the field and across the middle for Wilson, who should be more aggressive. Again, if Wilson and the Jets fall behind, Lazard could pick up some late yards to help his daily fantasy performance.
