2. New England Patriots

This Patriots team is for real, and they proved that with an absolutely dominant win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

The Patriots cruised to a 45-7 victory over a Browns team that had just blown out the Cincinnati Bengals the week prior. The NFL has been weird this year, to say the least.

But make no mistake about it, the Patriots are arguably the hottest team in the entire NFL. They've won five of their last six games with their lone loss coming in overtime to a very good Dallas Cowboys team.

That winning stretch includes blowout wins over the Browns, Panthers, and Jets and a victory over the Chargers. While rookie Mac Jones has received plenty of praise, even more praise should go to the Patriots defense.

Bill Belichick's defense is currently ranked toward the top in most rankings and has held their opponents to a combined 13 points over the last two weeks. In today's NFL, that's downright unheard of.

Matt Judon is playing like a Defensive Player of the Year candidate while others such as Kyle Van Noy, J.C. Jackson, Adrian Phillips and Kyle Dugger have played like some of the best players at their respective positions.

Just how far will this Patriots team go? That remains to be seen. But as of right now, they're legitimate threats to steal the AFC East away from the Bills.
