The NY Jets haven't exactly endured the most successful history against the majority of the NFL's teams. In fact, of the 31 franchises the Jets have faced, they only have a winning record against six of them.

This shouldn't necessarily come as a surprise, given the team's struggles over the years. In fact, they're still searching for the first win over the Philadelphia Eagles despite 12 games between the two teams.

That said, there are a few teams the Jets have gotten the better of over the course of their history. Many of these teams have only played the Jets a handful of times, but we're specifically looking at winning percentage for the sake of this list.

Let's take a look at the seven teams the Jets have at least a .500 winning percentage against in their history.

7. NY Jets vs. Cleveland Browns (14-14, .500)

The Jets have met the Cleveland Browns 28 times in the regular season during the course of their history. As a result of their thrilling come-from-behind victory over the Browns last season, the Jets were able to even the series at 14 games apiece.

Of course, that game featured a historic comeback led by Joe Flacco, Garrett Wilson, and a timely onside kick recovery. It marked the seventh Jets victory in their last nine meetings with Cleveland.

The first time these two teams squared off came back in 1970 — a 31-21 victory for the Browns. In fact, the Jets lost their first six games against the Browns, winning for the first time in 1981.

The Jets have met the Browns one time in the playoffs, a 23-20 overtime loss in the 1987 AFC Divisional Round. But since we're ignoring playoff stats for the sake of this list, the Browns sneak on with a .500 winning percentage against the Jets in the regular season.

A grudge match between the two teams is set for Week 17 of this season.
