4. The NY Jets will face the Miami Dolphins in both Week 12 and 15

A year ago, the Jets managed to get the best of the Miami Dolphins, due to the fact that their quarterback was out injured in both meetings, but with the return of Tua Tagovailoa, the Jets should get Miami's best shot in 2023.

With Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and a deep running back room, the Dolphins were red-hot when healthy last year, putting up historic offensive numbers, and with two of the best cornerbacks in the game, this should be a marquee matchup for the NFL.

Given how tightly contested the AFC East is expected to be in 2023, these two matchups will be key to the final standings. If the Jets can slow down both of the Dolphins' top receivers once again, they could be in for a pair of massive wins here.

3. The NY Jets will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6

The Philadelphia Eagles may have had one of the best defenses in the NFL a year ago as they cruised to an NFC Championship, but their offense was elite as well, and with a breakout year from Jalen Hurts, they could get better in 2023.

The team also added running backs D'Andre Swift and Rashaad Penny, and with an elite receiving duo and a great tight end, along with a fantastic offensive line, this unit will be so hard for even the Jets to slow down.

They have the players to do so, however, and if they can give their own high-powered offense enough room to work with, this would be a major momentum builder for New York heading into their bye week in Week 7.
