4. On the road in the Mile High will be a big time challenge for the NY Jets
Not only do the Denver Broncos figure to have a high-powered offense, led by new QB Russell Wilson, but they've also got the makings to be one of the most dangerous defensive teams in the entire NFL.
Sure, there are units out there with more talent than the Broncos, but there are very few flaws with this squad, and as the Jets will be playing on the road in Denver, it's going to make this challenge even harder.
With names like Bradley Chubb, Patrick Surtain II, and Justin Simmons leading this squad, there's no shortage of star power on either side of the ball. After travelling to Green Bay a week earlier, this could prove to be a rough stretch for the Jets.
5. The Baltimore Ravens will be a huge test for the NY Jets right out of the gate
The Baltimore Ravens may not have the big names like their defensive units of old with Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, but the underrated signing of Marcus Williams has made this one of the toughest defenses in the entire NFL.
All of the attention will rightfully go to Lamar Jackson and his electrifying highlights, but the biggest strength of this Ravens squad is the depth and talent at every position on the defensive side of the ball.
The Jets have no doubt improved on both offense and defense, and if they are to prove that, then the Ravens are the perfect team to do it against. They're no doubt talented, but if the Jets bring their A-game in Week 1, it could send a statement to the entire NFL.
