2. The NY Jets will face the Denver Broncos defense in Week 5

The Jets' offense showed plenty of flashes last year, but their best stretch came with the emergence of superstar running back Breece Hall. While he had many great games, his showing against the elite Denver Broncos defense proved most impactful.

Although it was also the game he tore his ACL, Hall snapped off a 70+ yard touchdown in the win, but after his departure, the defense started to show, as the Jets struggled to move the ball, something they hope doesn't repeat itself in this battle.

While Bradley Chubb was traded, this team is still full of players that can get to the quarterback and make plays. With a likely improved offense that will give this defense even more juice, don't sleep on this tough Broncos squad.

1. The NY Jets will face the Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 6

While Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, and the Eagles' offense garnered plenty of attention for their Super Bowl run last season, the defense is just as loaded, and with an elite defensive line, this will easily be the offensive line's toughest challenge of 2023.

Beyond that, Darius Slay and James Bradberry will be back as one of the NFL's top cornerback duos, and if the likes of Nakobe Dean and Nicholas Morrow can step up in the middle, this team will be tough to take down on all three levels.
