4. The NY Jets could trade Denzel Mims to the New York Giants

The New York Giants have become somewhat of a landing spot for former Jets players over the years. Most notably, Leonard Williams, Lawrence Cager, Jason Pinnock, and Jeff Smith have found new homes with the Giants.

Perhaps the same could occur for Mims. The Giants could absolutely use some additional wide receiver depth with a receiver corps of Darius Slayton, Wan'Dale Robinson, Sterling Shepard, Jalin Hyatt, Parris Campbell, and Isaiah Hodgins entering the 2023 season.

It also helps that one of Mims' former co-offensive coordinators at Baylor, Jeff Nixon, is currently a member of the Giants' coaching staff. Nixon, who is the Giants' running backs coach, spent three years with Mims at Baylor.

Mims wouldn't need to travel very far if the Giants traded for him. Perhaps we could see a rare Jets/Giants trade with Mims as the centerpiece of the deal.

3. The NY Jets could trade Denzel Mims to the Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly one of three teams that have had discussions with the Jets about a possible Mims trade. Per CBS Sports' Josina Anderson, the Jets and Cowboys have "had exploratory talks" about a trade involving the former Baylor standout.

A trade to the Cowboys would be a bit of a homecoming for Mims, who spent pretty much his entire life in Texas before he was drafted by the Jets. Mims grew up in Dangerfield, which is about a two-hour drive from Dallas, before playing college ball at Baylor in Waco, TX.

The Cowboys have a pretty solidified wide receiver trio in CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Brandin Cooks, but they could use some young depth to develop. Mims would be a worthwhile reclamation project.

Dallas might be the preferred landing spot for Mims if he has any say in the matter.
