It's no secret that the NY Jets have been going through a rough patch for the last decade, and while they've yet to turn it around on the field, things seem much better than in previous years.

After two seemingly great drafts that followed solid free agent classes, this team looks to be coming together very well, despite the tough schedule for the season ahead.

They aren't quite there yet, as players still need to improve and the roster could certainly use work, but given where this team was just a year or two ago, it's understandably why Jets fans are bracing themselves for success.

While it's very important for Jets fans not to get ahead of themselves, there are plenty of reasons to believe in Gang Green once again, and here are the biggest five.

1. NY Jets QB, Zach Wilson

Jets fans have been snakebitten countless times when it comes to believing in a young quarterback, but given the way Zach Wilson has been surrounded by talent, it's hard not to once again get your hopes up.

The BYU product had an up-and-down rookie campaign, but after having a solid end to the season, many people around the organization believe he is ready to take the next step up in quarterback play.

After adding C.J. Uzomah, Tyler Conklin, Breece Hall, and Garrett Wilson, Zach now has plenty of weapons at his disposal, and if he can get off to a quick start, he will only give Jets fans more reason to believe in him.

Wilson has returned to 2022 camp in great shape, reportedly adding plenty of good weight, and if he can grow alongside all these weapons and be protected by this line the way we expect, Jets fans may have finally got a good one.
