NY Jets: 3. Connor McGovern

One position the NY Jets have excelled at throughout their history is the center position, and over the past few years, they've had Connor McGovern play the role, and while he just signed a one-year deal to return to the team, the Jets may have just drafted his replacement.

That would be Joe Tippmann, a young center out of Wisconsin who was drafted with the No. 43 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and while McGovern will likely start the season first on the depth chart, it's only a matter of time until Tippmann gets his shot.

This could make McGovern a great trade piece come deadline time, or he may just stay on the Jets team as a depth piece, but either way, it appears that the Jets have their man for the future to anchor the offensive line, and it will likely cost their current starter his job.
