The NY Jets officially held their eighth OTA practice of the spring, and the third open to the media, on Tuesday. Attendance was a bit more limited this time, but there were still quite a few players who managed to stand out.

Nearly the entire starting defensive line was absent, including the likes of Quinnen Williams, Will McDonald, Jermaine Johnson, Javon Kinlaw, and, notably, Haason Reddick. Reddick's situation is worth monitoring over the coming weeks. Neither he nor Kinlaw have been with the team this spring.

Elsewhere, others sitting out due to injury included left tackle Tyron Smith (scheduled rest day), wide receiver Jason Brownlee, running back Breece Hall, fullback Nick Bawden, wide receiver Irvin Charles, cornerback Brandin Echols, offensive lineman Brady Latham, and tight end Kevin Foelsch. Mike Williams and Morgan Moses continued to rehab their respective injuries as well.

But who were the biggest standouts from Tuesday's OTA session? Let's take a closer look.

5. Garrett Wilson, WR, NY Jets

Garrett Wilson may have a new number and a new facemask, but he's very much still the Garrett Wilson we've come to know. Wilson and Aaron Rodgers have wasted little time rekindling the chemistry they developed last summer.

Rodgers found Wilson on a no-look dime from 40 yards out during 7-on-7 drills on a route in which the Jets' star wide receiver left his defender in the dust. Wilson reportedly ran such an impressive route that the defender in coverage broke the wrong way, leaving Wilson wide open over the middle.

Later, in 11-on-11 drills, Wilson contorted his body to grab a pass that was thrown a little behind him. It was another all-around impressive day for the star wideout.

Jets wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson told reporters on Tuesday that Wilson has been "as advertised" and that the "sky is the limit" for the third-year receiver. 2024 could be the year he reaches superstardom if his quarterback can stay healthy.
