1. Mekhi Becton's road to recovery

There is no bigger enigma on the Jets' roster than Mekhi Becton. The former first-round pick looked well on his way to becoming one of the best offensive tackles in football following a standout rookie season.

Unfortunately, Becton has appeared in just one game since that rookie campaign. Multiple knee injuries have sidelined Becton for consecutive seasons, and now he enters 2023 on the final year of his rookie contract.

Despite his injury history, the Jets are counting on him to emerge as a starter on their offensive line this summer. Becton, of course, has been very vocal about his desire to play left tackle. The Jets probably have other plans, however.

If Duane Brown is healthy, the assumption is that he will start at left tackle. That leaves Becton to battle with the likes of Billy Turner and Max Mitchell for the starting right tackle job.

"Hard Knocks" will document Becton's road to redemption as he looks to stay healthy and reclaim a starting spot in the Jets' offensive line. The documentary series might also address Becton's apparent opposition to playing right tackle.

Few players have more to gain (or lose) than Becton this summer. If the Jets' offensive line is going to find success and protect Aaron Rodgers, it'll be much easier with a healthy and motivated Mekhi Becton.

His redemption arc is the storyline I'm most looking forward to on "Hard Knocks."
