Another player who has found himself the center of some trade speculation is defensive end Bryce Huff. Huff is a good player who could just become a victim of the numbers game this summer.

The former undrafted free agent has developed into a really solid rotational pass rusher with the Jets and is coming off his most efficient season. In fact, prior to his injury, Huff was among the more efficient pass rushers in the NFL.

Huff finished the 2021 season with a pass-rush win rate of 22 percent which would have ranked as a borderline top-10 figure had he played enough snaps to qualify.

Prior to suffering a back injury that landed him on the injured reserve, Huff was among the league leaders in pass-rush win rate and one of the Jets' best pass rushers.

At just 24-years-old, there's room for a player like Huff on pretty much any NFL roster. But the Jets are so loaded at defensive end that they could consider moving Huff if the right offer comes along.

He's young, affordable, and has proven to be (at worst) a productive rotational NFL edge rusher. Those players don't exactly grow on trees.

The safe bet is to assume that Huff is on the Jets' Week 1 roster, but it's certainly not far-fetched to imagine a scenario where he's traded.
