The NY Jets are set for what should be an eventful offseason. From free agency to the 2022 NFL Draft, general manager Joe Douglas and company will have their hands full as they look to set this franchise up for success both in 2022 and the future.

Expect Douglas to explore all avenues to improve the roster, and that includes the trade market. But while a lot of the attention has been on players the Jets could acquire in a trade, the team could also look to ship a few of their own players away.

Be it due to salary, performance, or a combination of the two, the following four players on this list could be moved this offseason if the right offer comes along.

With that, let's take a look at four players the Jets could trade this offseason.

4. George Fant, OT, NY Jets

We can keep this first one short because it's pretty unlikely to actually happen. But with the Jets' logjam at offensive tackle, it isn't completely outlandish to suggest they could consider a trade.

George Fant is coming off easily the best year of his career, but he'll turn 30-years-old before the start of the 2022 season and is entering the final year of his contract.

The Jets have already confirmed that a returning Mekhi Becton is expected to compete with Fant for the starting left tackle job, but how might plans change if the team drafts an offensive tackle?

The Jets could look to cash in on Fant when his value is high and roll with a trio of Becton, Morgan Moses (provided he's re-signed), and a rookie tackle in 2022. It's far from a likely scenario, but it is one that's on the table.
