The NY Jets have done a lot of work over the last few years to ensure that they have a roster worthy of competing with the best of the best in the NFL. Entering the 2023 season, that's exactly the expectation they have.

The arrival of Aaron Rodgers has seemingly put the finishing touch on a roster overhaul that has taken the better part of the last four years. Rodgers joins a young and talented roster that rivals some of the best in the league.

Of course, the team isn't perfect, and there are certain position groups that stand out as weaknesses. The opposite is also true, however, with a number of positions more stacked than others.

That's exactly what we're here to discuss. Let's take a look at the four strongest position groups on the Jets' roster entering the 2023 season.

4. Quarterback

This was a difficult choice. I considered putting running back, tight end, and even special teams at this spot, but ultimately, Aaron Rodgers helps carry the quarterback position to the No. 4 spot on this list.

Rodgers is the crown jewel here. The four-time MVP may be coming off a down year, but the Jets hope he bounces back and proves that he's still among the NFL's elite QBs. After all, he has won MVP in two of the last three seasons.

The position group would rank higher if the Jets had any semblance of reliable depth behind Rodgers. The likes of Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Chris Streveler don't inspire much confidence if Rodgers were forced to miss any time.

Still, the presence of Rodgers is enough to earn the quarterback position a spot on this list. Rodgers is carrying his position group just as the Jets hope he will carry them to the postseason.
