1. Zach Wilson, QB, NY Jets

The Jets have done everything they can to set Zach Wilson up for success in 2022. They've given him a rock-solid offensive line, a much-improved receiving corps, and a running back tandem that could legitimately be top-10 in the NFL by the year's end.

Will Wilson succeed? That much remains to be seen. But few young quarterbacks in recent memory have seen their supporting cast improve in the span of one offseason as much as Wilson has.

Drafted second overall in 2021, the Jets identified Wilson as the man they wanted to build their franchise around. The jury is still out on his future, however.

Wilson struggled mightily with turnovers and accuracy early in the year, but what was notable was the improvement he showed as the season went on. The former BYU standout played the best football of his brief NFL career down the stretch in 2021.

He didn't do so with flashy throws or highlight-reel plays. Instead, he was efficient. And efficient was a significant improvement from what the Jets saw earlier in the year.

Now, the Jets have surrounded Wilson with talent and depth on offense. If he's going to succeed, it's going to be in this environment with a stable supporting cast and coaching staff.
