In Week 2, the Jets defense gave up 184 rushing yards as well as six catches to Cleveland running backs.

The play from the linebackers and safeties in the box was underwhelming following a solid performance in Week 1 against Baltimore.

Going into the season, the run defense was a concern for many Jets fans considering the team allocated most of its offseason resources towards the secondary and pass rushers.

While the Bengals have plenty of threats on the outside in Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and more, they also have Joe Mixon in the backfield who will need to be accounted for.

Despite the win, the Jets got gashed in the run game during key moments against Cleveland rushers Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

If the Jets can prove that their run defense can hold up while getting to quarterback Joe Burrow (as has happened often so far this season), it could be just the recipe the team needs for a win at home.
