3. NY Jets' tight end C.J. Uzomah could be a TE1 in deeper leagues

2021 Statistics: 128.3 Total Fantasy Points, 8.0 PPG

2022 Prediction: 150 Total Fantasy Points, 8.8 PPG

Now, C.J. Uzomah is one of the biggest "what ifs" in this year's fantasy season, with having the opportunity to score extremely high or fall into the eternal pits of fantasy football free agency.

While it is not quite set if Uzomah or Tyler Conklin will be the TE1 or TE2, both tight ends will have the opportunity to get their fair share of targets.

While playing for the Cincinnati Bengals, who had a loaded arsenal on offense, he recorded 1,261 receiving yards to go alongside 11 touchdowns over the course of four seasons.

Last year alone Uzomah stepped up his production recording a career-high 493 receiving yards, to go alongside five touchdowns. In fantasy football metrics, he ranked as a top 20 tight end as he sat No. 19 in total points.

He ranked in front of players such as Cole Kmet, Austin Hooper, and Jonnu Smith. Uzomah was just three points behind his new counterpart Tyler Conklin and one point behind star Darren Waller.

With Zach Wilson heading into his sophomore season, and a revitalized offense in the Big Apple, the opportunity for Uzomah to have a top 15 tight end season is expected.
