Zach Wilson will need a new No. 1 target with Corey Davis now out for the year. And every indication is that fellow rookie Elijah Moore could and should be that guy moving forward.

A second-round pick in this year's draft, Moore was the biggest star of the spring for the Jets but missed a lot of time in the summer due to a groin injury that held him out for the entire preseason.

For that reason, and partially due to poor quarterback play, Moore got off to a bit of a slow start. But the former Ole Miss star has come alive in recent weeks and looks like one of the best rookie wide receivers in football.

Moore has hauled in 34 catches for 459 yards over his last seven games which would put him on pace for nearly 1,400 yards in a 17-game season. He's legitimately been one of the most productive receivers in the NFL over the last two months.

That continued this past Sunday when Moore finished with six catches for 77 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. In that game, Moore was targeted a career-high 12 times.

That game showed what the Jets and many others saw for most of the offseason. The Zach Wilson/Elijah Moore chemistry was on full display for the first time in the regular season.

There's a new No. 1 guy in the Jets' offense. And his name is Elijah Moore.
